Global Resorts Network is the Internet marketing arm for a 20-year-old Vacation

When you join Global Resorts Network, or GRN, you get lifetime access to 4- and 5-
Star resorts all over the world at up to 80% off regular advertised pricing. Rates
range from $298 - $699 per Unit per Week. This is an important distinction.
Rather than paying $800 per person, double occupancy you can take the whole
family and pay a Total of only $298 for the entire week.

How much does the Membership cost?
The membership comes in two flavors – Gold or Platinum.
Gold Membership* is for three years only and costs $1,500
Platinum Membership is a Life Time Membership and costs $2,995.
If you check the link above for examples of savings you will find savings ranging
from around $700 up to as much as $2000 for a single week of vacation. Take a
two-week vacation and you could re-coup the entire membership fee in your first
year and enjoy 4- and 5-star luxury resorts at deep discounts for the rest of your
life. At first $2,995 sounded like a lot to me, but the ROI is quick!

require that you pay an annual maintenance fee for any units. Timeshare owners
can pay $25,000 for their single week and then pay as much as $500 per year, or
more, in maintenance fees. If they don’t want to go to the same resort every
single year then they have to submit their week to an Exchange system and
struggle to find a good property elsewhere that fits their timetable. Timeshare
owners who have purchased only one week of vacation for $25,000 may not be
able to take a second week without spending a large sum of money. GRN

Will Membership become over-subscribed?
Some people worry that if Global Resorts Network gets too many members then all
the discounted vacation rentals will be booked. Let’s do the math:
Let’s say the average resort has 100 units available. Some are larger, some are
smaller, but for the purposes of this example 100 is a simple number.
100 Units X 52 Weeks = 5,200 vacation weeks available per resort
5000 Resorts X 5,200 Vacation Weeks = 26,000,000 Vacation weeks
There are two points worth noting here:
1) GRN Supply will continue to outstrip Membership Demand
2) GRN will continue to expand capacity as they have done for the last 20 years
What are the restrictions on Travel?
1) Check-in is usually Saturday
2) Full weeks only
3) You should book at least 72 hours in advance (Reservations can be made up to
one year in advance)
4) If the resort you desire is fully booked GRN will find a neighboring resort for you
at GRN rates or wholesale rates
5) Platinum Members may not stay at GRN resorts for more than a total of 52
weeks* in any calendar year
* The 52-week restriction does NOT include Guest Passes. Since there are only 52
weeks in a year it is not possible for a member to spend any more time on vacation
in a single calendar year!

1) I’ve spent hundreds of hours researching GRN on-line and haven’t found much
negative press on them at all. There are some web sites and blogs owned by
timeshare sales people that are negative but it appears that this is because GRN is
threatening their business model. Why would you buy a timeshare now that GRN
is available on-line? If you find any meaningful negative press on GRN please let
me know.
2) Some blogs say you can get a better deal by working with realtors in your
destination but I found this to be complicated and time-consuming and the choices
were very limited – and the savings just weren’t worth the effort.
3) Some of the GRN properties have less than 4-star reviews. At first I was
concerned about this, but then I weighed that up against the fact that the vast
majority of GRN properties have excellent reviews, and frankly, it’s to be expected.

4) The absence of meaningful bad press on GRN was a major factor in my decision
to buy a membership for my family.
